International Programs for Older Students
A new market for SMG is its involvement in the TRAINEE, WORK and TRAVEL and H2B PROGRAMS. SMG has extended its involvement from high school programs to programs for older participants who desire to come to the United States to train and/or work for periods of time from 4 months to 18 months depending on the specific program chosen by the participant. SMG works with local companies and organizations throughout the United States who wish to participate in a WORK EXPERIENCE.
SMG WORK EXPERIENCE – TRAINEE, WORK AND H2B PROGRAMS
J-1 VISA TRAINING
Offers young professionals who speak English and have educational or WORK EXPERIENCE in a certain field, this allows young PROFESSIONALS to gain knowledge with TRAINING PROGRAM inside an America corporation. These students can join the American workforce as a paid TRAINEE and obtain PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE in their chosen fields. Program participants will have a guaranteed and secured work placement with salary before arrival. SMG offers paid J Visa Training opportunities for up to 18 months in a variety of positions across the United States.
J-1 VISA WORK AND TRAVEL
The SUMMER WORK AND TRAVEL Program is designed to allow foreign college and university students the opportunity to live, WORK N TRAVEL in the United States for a maximum period of 4 months, but within the limits of their official college vacation. Students have the flexibility of finding and locating a position independently or the program can find one for them. The J Visa WORK AND TRAVEL PROGRAMS bring international college and university students to work in the US during their vacations. SMG has positions at RESORTS, HOTELS, theme parks and a variety of other interesting J Visa WORK & TRAVEL destinations.
H2B VISA WORK PROGRAM
This working visa program allows applicants of any age or nationality to come and work in the United States at SEASONAL or TEMPORARY JOBS. Hosts include COUNTRY CLUBS, RESORTS and other beautiful locations around the country. The H2-B visa allows non-skilled workers and opportunity to WORK IN THE US regardless of their educational background. Program participants will have a guaranteed and secured work placement with salary before arrival.
SMG offers overseas university/college students, non-college students, and young professionals training that bridge their course of study to their career development. Trainees gain practical knowledge from immersion in their specialized field.

Therefore, SEA asks each interested family to complete a preliminary host family application, under
NO COMMITMENT, in order for the Representative to proceed with a group of students for a perspective host family to review
based on your family’s interests and lifestyle.
In this process, with the guidance of your experienced Local Representative, you will select your new son/daughter. Only then does the placement process begin.
