- Sharing of house rules

- Able to really get to know each other
- Many other little things important to a great experience
The INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE programs that are in Alliance with SEA are monitored and verified to be placing quality students, in quality homes, by quality representatives, with quality programming and by complying with the guidelines of CSIET and the DOS.
The INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE programs that SEA represents are a limited number of highly selected programs, therefore it is able to commit and dedicate itself to the superior quality all INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGE families have a right to when sending their children to a host family in the US.

IMPORTANT: The most critical step is the matching of the host family and the foreign exchange student, interest and life style.
Therefore, SEA asks each interested family to complete a preliminary host family application, under
NO COMMITMENT, in order for the Representative to proceed with a group of students for a perspective host family to review
based on your family’s interests and lifestyle.
In this process, with the guidance of your experienced Local Representative, you will select your new son/daughter. Only then does the placement process begin.
